Material: Poly (glycolic-co-caprolactone) copolymer (PGCL)

Charateristics:

• Synthetic, absorbable, monofilament, sterile surgical suture
• Smooth passage through tissue, excellent handling properties and pliability
• Reliable absorption
• High in vivo tensile strength retention
• Very low incidence of infection and trauma

Absorption: Complete absorption in 90 to 120 days
Tensile strength: 60% of original tensile strength at 1 week post implantation; 30% at 2 weeks post implantation, and 11% at 3 weeks post implantation

Indication: General, soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, including use in ophthalmic procedures
